Texture Rgb Map node

The Texture Rgb Map node converts the R G B values of the rgb input texture to the X Y Z values used to generate the texture input.

Procedure

To define a Rgb Map procedural texture:

  1. On the left toolbar choose Texture Nodes > Texture Rgb Map. Textures icon > Texture Rgb Map icon

  2. Drag the Texture Rgb Map icon into the Node Graph.

  3. Adjust the attributes of the Rgb Map Texture node.

Preview

Procedural textures are not displayed in the Image Viewport. To preview procedural images use the Texture Preview window, and to convert them to raster images use the Render Texture node.

Inputs

texture
The texture to be evaluated.

rgb
A texture whose R G B values will be converted to the X Y Z values used to evaluate texture.

A procedural texture.
