External Project node

Left Toolbar> Generate.png Generate Nodes> PixaFlux Generate Writer Writer

The External Project loads into your current project an external PixaFlux project saved on a different file. To set a project to be used as an external project add a Writer node to it.

Procedure

To upload an External Project image:

  1. On the left toolbar choose Generator Nodes > External Project. Generate.png > PixaFlux Generate Writer

  2. Drag the External Project icon into the Node Graph.

  3. Select the Project file (.pxf).

  4. Set the image position.

Upload .pxf file.
Translate: Default coordinates (0,0). Edit X, Y position.

To save an image to be used in an External Project

  1. Create image. Background.png Nodes

  2. Drag the Writer icon into the Node Graph. Generate.png > PixaFlux Generate Writer

  3. Connect the output of the image node into the Img input in the Writer node. Nodes
  4. Set the image name in Writer Attributes.
  5. Save project. Nodes
  6. Open New Project.
  7. Drag the External Project icon into the Node Graph. Generate.png > PixaFlux Generate Writer

  8. Select the Project File (.pxf) that contains the image you want to load. The image will be displayed in the Image Viewport. Load External Project
  9. Compose the external image into your project. For this project, we are gonna blend it with a wall brick image. Load External Project Nodes Final Image Nodes
  10. Edit External Project Image and Final Image project will be automatically updated. Nodes
