Texture Turbulence node

Left Toolbar > Texture icon Texture Nodes > Texture Turbulence icon Texture Turbulence node

The Texture Turbulence node applies a turbulence algorithm to the input texture.

Procedure

To apply a Texture Turbulence:

  1. On the left toolbar choose Texture Nodes > Texture Turbulence. Textures icon > Texture Turbulence icon

  2. Drag the Texture Turbulence icon into the Node Graph.

  3. Adjust the attributes of the Texture Turbulence node.

Preview

Procedural textures are not displayed in the Image Viewport. To preview procedural images use the Texture Preview window, and to convert them to raster images use the Render Texture node.

Defines the Power value of the Turbulence.

Roughness
Defines the roughness value of the Turbulence.

Frequency
Defines the frequency of the Turbulence. Similar to size.

Defines the random seed of the Turbulence.
