Left Toolbar > 3D icon Mesh Nodes > Surface Filter Surface Scratches

The Surface Scratches node paints procedural scratches over the surface.

Procedure

To generate procedural scratches on a Surface:

  1. On the left toolbar choose Mesh Nodes > Surface Scratches. Mesh icon > Surface Groups icon
  2. Connect the Surface Map node to a Surface value and an Image value.

Surface Filter attributes

Num Scratches
Number of scratches to be generated.

Type
straight. Surface Scratches Straight

curved. Surface Scratches Straight

Length Range
The lenght of each scratch is a random value on this range.

Strength Range
The strength of each scratch is a random value on this range.

Seed
Seed for the random engine used by the scratches generator.
